The SAT (formerly known as the Scholastic Aptitude Test) is a standardized test widely used for college admissions in the United States. It is administered by the College Board, a non-profit organization. The SAT assesses students’ readiness for college-level work and is typically taken by high school students, usually in their junior or senior year.
